More Than a Salon:
The Collective

The Collective

The Collective started with a simple belief, that really beauty professionals do their best work when they get to run things their own way, surrounded by people who push them to be better. Everyone here runs their own independent business, sets their own schedule, and sets their own pricing

It's what makes The Collective one of the only spots in Normal, IL where hair, nails, and skin all live under one roof, each handled by someone who specializes in exactly that. What ties it all together is the space itself and the energy inside it, a place where people can build a business and a life they love, plant their roots, and stay booked out without burning out.

Lisa has spent 15 years behind the chair in Bloomington-Normal, and she built this place around great hair, good people, and everyone cheering each other on.

A room full of people who want to see you win

That energy starts with Lisa Huff, owner and leader of The Collective. After 15 years behind the chair, known across Bloomington-Normal for lived-in blondes and dimensional color that grows out beautifully, Lisa knew exactly what she wanted this place to feel like, a room full of people who cheer each other on.

Around here, wins get celebrated, questions get answered, and everyone is invested in seeing the person next to them do well. Lisa also coaches other stylists through her company, Stylist Soul Tribe, so there's real business support and encouragement built into the day to day. The result is a salon with real teamwork behind it, and you can feel it the moment you walk in.
